FINAL DESIGN
What is Allure and what was the goal?
Where does high-fashion e-commerce fall short?
How do you make online shopping feel like an experience?
Allure is a high-fashion e-commerce brand. I designed a shopping experience that balances editorial storytelling with intuitive functionality.
High-fashion shoppers crave a curated, emotionally resonant experience — but most e-commerce sites feel cold, overwhelming, and disconnected from the artistry of the brand.
That disconnect became the design challenge:
I spoke with 3 high-fashion shoppers to understand what they value — and where digital luxury consistently falls short.
Some key pages from the design:
Key Insights
Imagery carries significant weight — it sets the standard for the entire brand experience
Visual inconsistency across pages undermines trust and perceived quality
Shoppers want navigation that is fast and precise
"How can I craft a shopping experience that feels editorial, inspiring, and easy to navigate?"
UI DESIGN
How do you make online shopping feel like an experience?
My decisions focused on closing the gap between editorial fashion and functional e-commerce.
A minimal palette and editorial type system built to feel luxury without excess.
EDITORIAL DESIGN
Copywriting that mirrors the tone of luxury fashion publications — elevated and minimal. Strategic whitespace gives visuals and text room to breathe, maintaining elegance.
MOBILE FIRST
The editorial experience had to survive the smaller screen. Every layout decision was made with mobile in mind first — ensuring the experience felt intentional and effortless regardless of device.
CHECKOUT STREAMLINING
A luxury experience should feel effortless from browsing to purchase. I simplified the checkout flow — reducing unnecessary steps and introducing clean CTAs that guide without pressure.
